Anyone have any seeds for these?
Brief info- until a few centuries ago, any carrot you were liable to find was in fact deep purple, not orange. The orange was a mutation that showed up and for whatever reason it became the norm.
Anyhow, I understand some purple ones are still available out there, so was wondering if anyone has seeds or knows where to aquire them.

Saw some seeds at Marshall Grain in FT Worth this last spring. They were in the little envelopes on a cardboard standup display the seed company sends. Don't know if they have anymore. You might call , if they don't have any they might make a recomendation. They are on East Lancaster in Ft Worth. I don't have the number handy, sorry.

The phone number for Marshall Grain Co. is 817-536-5636
By the way Ent....
I heard a similar story one time about apples. The story was that at one time all apples were green. Someone had a mutation in one of their trees that produced red apples on part of it. Parts of this tree were grafted and so began the red apple. The story also went on to say that the red apples brought a very high premium because of their uniqueness.
If anyone can either confirm this story or tell me it is not true I would appreciate it.
Thanks
