If you would like to post a reply that shows a quote from another post, simply click the "quote" button in the message you want to quote. This will automatically pull up a reply box for you that includes the original quote.

Can you quote part of a note? I tried highlighting one sentence then pressing the quote button, but it brings up the entire note, not just the sentence highlighted.

Yes - just hit the "quote" button- then when the message box comes up with the original quote in it, you can delete the section of the quote you don't want to use.
