I am confused about Red Bell Peppers. Do they exist or are they just a green bell pepper that has ripened? I have let Green one's ripen but they don't taste as sweet as the one's you buy in the grocery store. I have seen Red Bell Pepper seed but wonder what they truly are.
Most, but not all, start off as green and then ripen to different colors depending on the cultivar.
