I am planing on planting a raised bed organic vegtable garden in my back yard but need to remove a red tip photinia. Early this year I cut it down from an eight foot tree to a one foot stump and then let the project get away from me. Since then the darn thing grew back to a three foot bush. So my question is, how do I get rid of this thing once and for all? I have read many posts all over the web to pull the roots out with a truck, but this is not an option because a truck couldn't get near this location. I know I probably could use stump remover, but would prefer a more organic solution. I was considering drilling a hole in the stump and pouring in vinegar but wasn't sure if that would work. Thank you for your help.
