This mined from ocean beds in Redman Utah. I buy chunks (about 30 lbs) for our miniature cows. It has about 70 some trace minerals. My wife and I also buy the human kind to use in the kitchen. It is not sweet but has a sweeter taste as compare to table salt that Morton has taken all the minerals out. It also comes 50 lb bags.
You will need to check but I think the closest dealer to you is Rabbit Hill Farms in Corsicana, Tx. Mr J Mertz owns this and last year I got him to bring a big load to me and we met at the organic home and garden show in Arlington - which is 9, 10, 11 this year. I keep chunks in mineral feeders and they last a long time when the rain caqn't get to it.
I don't know how much the cows can absorb with out chelation but it sure beats using Morton blocks. It has to be better.

We use the blocks for our goats and the human salt in the house. This material is mined naturally, you get what comes out of the ground.
