I have a bad problem with slugs. After research, I find that decollate snails will take care of the problem. Where can I get these in the Dallas area. Northaven doesn't have them.

Thanks,

Have not seen any in a while, you might check with Rohdes, Redentas, Green Mamas or Petal pushers.
I was told that once the good snails eat the the bad snails then they too can become as problem. Couple things you might try:
1. Beer traps(kinda nasty) Shallow dish with 1/2 inch of beer traps and kills them, throw them in the compost pile.
2. Cedar flakes or granuales made by Cedarcide or Greenlight. Bonide Mosquito beater also contains cedar oil as well as others so you get 2 things and many others controlled.

I discussed beer traps and posted photos on the blog entry I've been running here on the forum. http://www.dirtdoctor.com/newforum/root/nature-yard-garden-us-nature-t9033.html Go to page two for the snail stuff.

Here's the result of a well-placed beer trap (put out at night, use fresh beer, don't bother to leave it out beyond the next morning, they stop coming to it once the beer is flat):
