I live in the DFW area and want to know where I can purchase Expanded Shale. Howard recommends it for shrub beds and gardens.

The designer dirt product is hard to find. I live in the Denton area. I have called Designer Dirt but haven't got someone to talk too.

Thanks for the response. I have called them and have experienced the same as you. Additionally, I have e-mailed them with zero response.

Plano is a ways from Denton when gas is so high but I got a 40 lb bag of expanded shale & compost for $5+ at Wells Bros' on hiway 5 in Plano.
