In the October issue of Dirt, there was a great article on easy-care roses that A&M had tried. There was even a list of nine varieties. Does anyone know a source for the varities mentioned? I'm starting a new rose bed and would like to include them.
I can't remember all the roses A+M mentioned but the best roses can be found at many nurseries in the "Antique Roses" section. These are roses that have grown naturally in most of Texas without fertilizer, pesticides and only natural watering. They rarely get infected with the problems modern roses have. You can see and buy them on line at: http://www.antiqueroseemporium.com/ Tony M
