 Post subject: Squash plant blooms disappearing

We have a couple summer squash plants that appear to be thriving, but every time a bloom appears we never get a squash started. It looks like something is cutting the blooms at the stem before the flower ever opens or develops further. Is there a bug that does this? And, is there some organic pesticide to get rid of said bugs?

The "soap" you use is normally chemicals, etc. Use real SOAP !!
