Our St. Augustine grass is turning yellow and we decided to try greensand. How do we spread it and do we need to water it in? Or is there somethng else we should be doing to prevent the grass from turning yellow?

Lay off the water and aerate it.

You don't say where you live (my pet peeve) but I suspect it needs fertilizer. Greensand only makes a difference if the lawn yellowed following a long hard rain.
