I tried searching for an answer before posting in what I hope is the right place but in my profile I wanted to try out the various styles but all are the same, even the standard subsilver has the same appearance even after I change it.
I just wanted to report that lil bug.

I'm hoping this "bump" will stimulate a response on this, soon.
No matter HOW I attempt to do so, I cannot change styles in my text unless I type in the codes myself. Am I wrong to assume that I should be able to SELECT, then apply the style to selected text ?? Each time I've tried that, only partial code appears at the very END of my message, after my signature.
Really scratching my head, here, after trying everything I can think of, to no avail.
HELP !?!?

Pambi,
The BBCode always will insert at the end point of the last character of text you have input I have found, not at the point you have the cursor as you would assume it would. Once you click the code you want it inserts the open code, you need to click it again to get the closing code. Just take those and use the CUT and PASTE functions to place them where you want them.
Otherwise, if you know you want an area bolded (for example) before you type it, then click the bold code button, then type your text and click that same code to close the code after you are done typing.
Here is a webpage on the forum that has examples of how to use BBCode as well.
Happy Computing!

AHHH, Scott ! Have I done it right this time ?? HAHA !! Sometimes it's soooo hands-on with me... written instructions often go in one eyeball, and promptly out the other. Thanks so much.... I THINK I've finally got the hang of it
