Well i am a new member, and actually i was brought here by a book my neighbor had written by Garrett. I am now officially on the all organic process. My front yard is in pretty bad shape, the owner before did nothing to keep it maintained, but he was in his 80's so its understandable. My yard is 50/50 grass and dirt, spots here and there of grass pretty much. I trimmed the trees up a bit and that helped with alot of it, but i made the mistake of using the grand finnally Scotts fertilizer to jump start in the spring. I never knew about organics till i found this website and read all the bad i was doing with the synthetic fertilizer. I already laid some compost so im on the right track i believe. I hope to meet more people and learn more information about this process.
