Along with ants, I have the tiniest of white-ish oval shaped bugs running around in my raised beds where I've planted garlic. The garlic shoots are just beginning to pop up. But my concern is the shear amount of these little white bugs. They move very quickly and turned and went another direction when I reached in to grab a few for closer examination.

I'm in Central TX, southwest of Waco in Woodway. This is the first I've seen of them.
The bed was amended with organic mushroom and other organic composts.

would anyone have an idea of what these are and if I should be concerned?

thanks so much.
Frankie

Sandi,
Sorry; holidays and other trips have had me on the run.
I had to purchase a glass magnifier, but by the time I got it, those little white bugs were gone. I assume all is well and that they caused no harm.
I did use organic mushroom compost. so maybe it is a consequence from that.

thank you
