We transplanted a juniper late last spring/early summer. We should have waited, but we didn't. It looked fine for awhile, but then started turning brown. The limbs are pliable and are holding their arched shape which makes us think it's still alive. Is there a way we can tell for sure if it is alive? How long should we wait before we dig it up and start over? There's a matching green juniper on the other side of our walk. Any ideas?
