my transplants (tomato and pepper) have gone extremely limp. any ideas? I buried the tom's relatively deep and the peppers pot deep. the manure compost is by back to nature and it did not smell like manure or urine. I've given them a good drink of Garrett Juice plus by soil mender. In the holes I mixed kelp meal, epsom salts, lava sand, organic fertilizer, and dry molasses.
How many days have they been this way...and are they still? Be sure you do not continue to water until the soil has dried a little. They do not need or want to be kept extremely wet. Send us an update.
you might consider getting a small plant from the nursery instead of trying to start from seed. The ground should be slightly moist but not too wet. Put your finger in the soil around all your plants to check the moisture level before watering.

just to update. I replanted , again I bought Bonnie Farm plants. Fortunately, I only have one plant about to die. When I pulled the plants before, I failed to mention that the roots seemed to have disappeared and the stem was moosh. Could this be Phytophthora? If so what can I do to revive the plant or treat the are? The plants seem to only last 1 or 2 days after beginning to wilt.
