I have had almost 100% seed germination with different tomatoes and peppers, but when I am transplanting the sprouts I am losing the plants, can someone help me on this.

What are you transplanting into and where? Are they just falling over and wilting? Please describe what is happening.

I am transplanting them in to individual 4 inch pots filled with lady bug potty soil, soil mender plus and compost then drenching with garret juice plus and they some are just laying over and some just wilt, I am going to the 4 inch pots so that I don’t have to move them but one more time to the garden.

Are they all doing this? For how long. (well, I know-dead is dead. )
Sometimes theres a lot of wilt when you transplant...maybe they'll recover? In a day or 2?

What happens to me is all my transplants die when I put them in the garden from the little pots they grew in...I've all but given up doing this.

I lose about 3 or 4 out of about every 10 that I transplant and it doesn’t take long 24 to 48 hours and they are laid completely over and in 72 hours starting to dry

What kind of light are you growing them in? And how warm is the soil?
Try the Soil Mender potting soil, it uses coconut fiber instead of peat moss, and coconut is anti-fungal. A light layer of coconut fiber over the top of the soil can help with damping off.

I have half of them (the live plants) under artificial lighting and they are getting after it and the other half about 3 feet away from a window, the soil temp is good it stays very warm in the building that I have them in and I thought that the lady bug potting soil was peat moss less?

I just read a bit in my book of Howard's- TX Gardening the Natural Way- and the advice is to avoid growing in a windowsill, try to keep temps even, when they sprout, keep turning them towards the light & make sure they get enuf lite, and harden off outdoors for AT LEAST A WEEK b/4 setting into the ground. Be sure to protect from wind & too much sun b/4 planting. Soak each well b/4 planting into the ground.
