 Post subject: Tree Pruning

Location: grapevine,TEXAS
I am wanting to prune the dead limbs off my trees while I can see which ones do not have any leaves. is now a bad time. I live in the north texas area. My trees are very large oaks

I read that your supposed to trim oaks in the spring, but somebody else might have a better opinion. I dont see a problem if the limbs are already dead. Just dont make flush cuts.
