I have a brand new gigantic tree stump that I have no idea what to do with. I would like to keep it in the ground and do something decrative. It is about 3 feet off the ground so I am unsure of climbing plants and it is not level at the cut off so putting a pot on top of it will not work. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
JEB
Hi Jeb,
Maybe a pot, pot saucer as a birdbath or a statue. You would need to use a rock or some type of wedge to level it out. I have a pot saucer as a birdbath with a rock under one side to level it on a tree stump. I also keep a rock in the middle of the saucer so it won't blow away. You could plant an annual or perennial vine. Look for something that only grows to about 10' or less.
Hope this helps,
Newt
