 Post subject: Prostate knotweed?

This weed continues to trouble me in the summer. I live near frisco and on a relatively new lot. There is a massive amount of soil compaction from the construction as well as clay soil. I've started the organic program this yr and see good results with this weed being the exception.

thats what it looks like in my neighbors yard, but what I have looks like my pictures. Either way is the only solution to aeriate, apply compost and try to minimize compaction?

The selective organic herbicide Agralawn Crabgrass Killer would be worth trying on this weed.
