I have a lot of Dallas-grass in with my St Augustine. I have been trying to pull it, but if any of the root is left it comes back. I have been told that there is no post emergent that is approved for St Augustine. I would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks

Dallisgrass is tough, and probably best handled by digging it out. After a rain, when the soil has drained just a little you can pop the roots out with a spade fork. Dallisgrass from the Natural Organic Library.

Do this. It was meant for crabgrass in St Augustine but it is reported to work against dallisgrass, too.
