Hello all.

I have a pitiful Buffalo grass lawn, and wish that I would have gone Bermuda from the git-go. My lawn is thin and has weed problems, so I am wanting to overseed with Bermuda. Our lot is all full-sun; there is no shade. I live in Rockwall county, just east of Dallas, with clay soil. Does anyone have any suggestions for a Bermuda seed which will be thick, lush, dark-green in color, and will completly obliterate the Buffalo? A hearty variety (ie. disease resistant) would also be a plus.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Regards,
Brad in Rockwall

Any of the Tiff varieties should be good. Unfortunately there are not many seed versions of Tiff. It usually comes as sod.

Yikes, doing the same thing. They have good product but I need 2 lbs to cover my pitiful buffalo. Anywhere that gives out smaller quantities?
