I've begun the long process of letting bermuda choke out the bahiagrass sod that my cheapskate builder put in. It's a pretty big lot, most of it is city right-of-way and I don't really have the dough right now to start from scratch which would require a bulldozer.

So far I am making pretty good progress and have some healthly looking bermuda in some parts and the seeds are are coming up, it's just taking a while and the summer is almost over (I think)

I am not too familiar with lawn chemicals, but has anyone heard of a chemical that will kill bahiagrass but not bermudagrass? Organic preferred. I know I've read about some that will selectively kill bermuda, but I'm trying to do the opposite.

you can cut out pieces of the bermuda and spread it around to more areas of your lawn!
