This may sound strange, but how does one repel bees?

Over the last few days, I've had 1, then 3, now 6 bees hanging outside my kitchen window. The air conditioner from up above drips outside the window, so the area can be a little moist, but there's nothing else there that they should want. There's just concrete, rocks, and my garden hose.

This is a heavily traveled area in my yard and I don't react well to bee stings, and I don't want others to get stung either.

How can I safely encourage them to leave this place and go elsewhere? I certainly don't want to harm them!

Help!

Are they flying around or stopping on the ledge of the window? We don't want to harm bees or wasps either but had wasps trying to build nests on our porch where we sit. We wiped down the area w/orange oil & water mixture. They didn't try to come back.

These guys just hang around the moisture that drips from the condensation overflow outlets from the 2nd story. They don't appear to be building a hive or anything - there's just more of them each day. I think they're telling the rest of them there'e free water. Because I can't turn off the A/C, and because I can't hurt the bees, I just want to somehow convince them they should not bee there (pun intended).

I'll try the orange oil rub thing.
