Hello! I live in Lake Highlands in Dallas, on a street called Vista Oaks for all the oak trees - I have 2 large live oaks and one large red oak. We're all being threatened by oak wilt. There is no oak wilt on my street, but on the street behind us, it's taken down several large live oaks. Neighbors are syndicating treatment by an arborist to use Alamo Fungicide on healthy trees in defense. I've been organic for 15 years and my house, but nothing fancy or extensive, just avoiding any poisons and adding cornmeal and alfalfa. I'm very hesitant to join into this Alamo fungicide syndication. I've read the Sick Tree treatment on this website. What recommendations might you have? Would you use the Sick Tree treatment as a defense on healthy trees? I feel like I should do something. Thanks for any input!
