Okay, I'm looking for an alternative to the hose-end sprayer approach I've been using for foliar feeding my gimungous trees. That's only good for the bottom quarter of the leaves at best and approximately one third of me after I'm done. Are there special prayers or a better method for reaching 20-60ft foliage? The wife won't let me spray from the roof and I don't have the money for a cherry picker..

I would have sworn that I read something on this topic here on the forums last year (or so..), but searches returned no love.

Dave,
Have you considered buying a trombone sprayer. Howard says they work great for spraying trees. Plus you can spray right from the bucket.
I am looking at geeting one for myself to spray the yard with.

So far I've used mostly the Hudson pump-sprayers. Been fine so far.
