I have a Chinese Pistacio tree that I planted almost 1 year ago - The tree seems to be thriving, however, the bark on the trunk on one side is breaking apart and coming loose. Inside the areas where the bark has fallen off the trunk is dry and splitting. There also appears to be white nodules on the bark still on the tree. Is this tree doomed??

Not sure if it's doomed.. I'd hit it with some tree trunk goop- with some added liquid seaweed, and make sure you're giving it the organic upkeep it needs.
