 Post subject: When should we see leaves on our pecan trees?

Location: Corinth,TEXAS
We planted six small (2 yr.) pecan trees this winter and have yet to see leaves. We can see small knubs along the trunk but don't know if they are new growth. Is it still too early for spring leafing? :?

My pecan tree is just now leafing out (I'm in Lake Highland).
