I am wondering where I might purchase a Caddo Maple tree in Fort Worth?
All of the major Home-and-Garden stores carry the Silver Leaf Maple.
I would also like to hear any good or bad things about this particular tree.
I'm looking for a tree with pretty fall colors, easy to maintain, provide
shade, and fit in a small front yard. ThankYou.

Kevin-
I don't know about Ft. Worth but Green Mama's in North Richland Hills is not far from you. They have a great selection of trees and can get whatever you want. Also, it's 100% organic.

Hi Kevin, I too have been desperately looking everywhere for a Caddo Maple. Howard Garret gives it very high reagard in his "Plants of the Metroplex" book. He describes it as "very drought tolerant". If you find a source please relpy to me as I would like to purchase at least 2 of them. I have and still am considering driving to Oaklahoma if I need to.

But, Rhode's in Garland, just off 635 carries the Caddo Maple. See his website as it contains prices.

They mention the Caddo on their web site. Not sure if they sell it.

Good luck.
