In the last 10 years, I have planted two mock orange shrubs because, as a child, we had one whose blooms smelled absolutly incredible. Neither of the two I've grown has any scent whatsoever, even though the nursery tags specifically identified them as 'highly fragrant'. Both have been dependable bloomers, but I WANT THE SCENT. Anyone know where to obtain a mock orange that actually lives up to its name? This last one came from an organic nursery, but they get them from a wholesaler, and have no control.

I had the same problem. I planted 4 of them hoping to get that scent, and mine have no scent either. Hopefully someone will have an answer.
