 Post subject: Will Sweet Broom survive in the Dallas area?

According to what I've read, it will survive down to 15 degrees F. But several of my neighbors have heard that it will die in the winter. I don't recall us getting that cold. Anybody have any success with this one? It sure is beautiful.

I have tried growing it and have had zero luck with it. Looks good at first for me but then died within 3 weeks. then I tried container growing of it and it did the same thing. After 10 different shrubs I gave up and returned them all to LOWES. Maybe others have had good luck but I sure have not here in Rockwall. North Texas. Let us know if yours do good because I like the looks of it and the color

I kept hearing that it wouldn't last so I traded it for some Spirea. We'll see!
