I got a bag of goat manure that has been aging for about 9 months in a heavy plastic bag. It is mixed with wood shavings from where it was mucked out of a pen. Is this safe to use in my organic vegetable garden where I am growning greens (not root crops)? Will the wood shavings leech the nitrogen out of the soil?

Wood shavings and goat manure are 4 star composting materials, but you are better off composting them to completion outside the garden first.
