I made my garden using organic compost, lava sand, Texas green sand, corn meal and dry molasses. I have planted yellow squash, cucumbers and zucchini. I have watered with Garrett Juice and Thrive twice. The leaves are yellow. Any idea why?

I went out yesterday to take a look. I guess they liked the rain because a couple of the plants have tripled in size in 2 days and are flowering. Maybe they just needed Mother Nature to step in.
I can't remember the name of the compost. I bought it at Lowes. The bag said Organic Compost and I used it last year without a problem.
I've had a similar issue with my zucchini plants. In May the were 3 ft high and 4 ft wide. Now since it's hotter, one has completely "melted" and now it looks like the other one is on its way I have sprayed them with fish emulsion and compost from my compost pile. They are in full sun. I had water them around 8 pm.
It is normal for many plants to droop in the middle of the day. It does NOT mean they need add'l water. Look at them in the morning or evening to determine that. My squash is almost laying flat mid-day, then pops back up when the sun is off of them.
