RHUBARB

Common Name:
Rhubarb

The experts say that rhubarb can’t be grown in Texas. If you want to give it a try, rhubarb is planted from seed or root divisions. Use the same timing as for horseradish and don’t harvest any stalks until the second growing season. It is a cold-hardy perennial but has a tough time with our hot summers.
