SPCA Adopt a March 14, 2010
From last week, Leland is still waiting for a home.
From before that, Riley was adopted!
Here is a new pet for this weekend.

Champayne
Champayne is a one-year-old female Golden Retriever/Border Collie mix. She is a little timid when she first meets new people, but she warms up quickly and will be really happy to be in a home where she can grow accustomed to the schedule. She is perfect for the person or family looking for an only pet! Champayne does not do well with cats and truly prefers to be the only dog. She may eventually do well with a calm, small dog however. She is housetrained, crate trained and good with calm, older children. Campayne has been waiting for a home of her own since February 24. #9173673
Champayne is waiting to meet you at the SPCA of Texas' Dealey Animal Care Center in Dallas at 362 S. Riverfront Blvd. (S. Industrial Blvd.) near downtown Dallas. Hours are noon to 6 p.m. seven days a week. Regular adoption fees are $185-$285 for puppies 0-6 months, $95-$195 for adult dogs 6 months or older, $75 for senior dogs 7 years or older, $50 for VIP dogs, $95 for cats, $125 for kittens, $75 for senior cats 7 years and older and $50 for VIP cats. Fee includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, a heartworm test for dogs six months and older, initial heartworm preventative for dogs, a feline leukemia test for cats four months and older, a microchip, a rabies tag and a free leash or cat carrier. Call 214-742-SPCA (7722) or visit www.spca.org.
Leland

Leland is a two-year-old male Beagle/Shepherd mix. His calm and gentle demeanor and small frame make him the perfect family companion. Plus, he's lovable, intelligent, good with other dogs and easy going. At only 29 pounds, he truly is the perfect size. A transfer from another shelter, Leland has been waiting for a family to call his own since February 20. #9754439
