Bald Eagles are magnificent birds that have recovered nicely from the threat of DDT.

A pair of Bald Eagles are nesting at the John Bunker Sands Wetland Center, not far from Dallas.

A couple of videos of the nesting pair are available on this page.

A friend of mine has recently posted a video a family of Bald Eagles as the young grow up.

Young Bald Eagles are brown with mottled white markings. It can take 4-5 years to reach full adult plumage with the white head and tail.
