I have an area of flagstone on my patio where I plant Dichondra seed in between the stones. It is usually very beautiful, however, twice now most of it has died and I've had to replant because of flea beetles. Is there another low-growing plant similar to Dichondra that will not have that problem? Please let me know.

Why not treat the flea beetles? At least give the dichondra a chance before going to the trouble and expense of changing it out. Here is the library page about treating those persistent tiny pests.

The Dichondra is brown and dead.

Dichondra is pretty - I have it growing wild in my yard and parts of my garden. Around here (North Texas) I see some dark green dwarf mondo grasses doing the same thing as you describe for your dichondra. It's pretty tough.
