A nice mix of ducks on the ponds along the El Dorado golf course - at least 4 species.
Mallards and Northern Shoveler (rust color on the side with head under water) are both dabbling ducks, the will pop over head down and tail up to feed.
Also two diving duck species - the Ring-necked Duck (shown) and the Lesser Scaup. Both species dive completely underwater to feed. Usually found in deeper water than dabbling ducks. The scaup were too far out to get a good photo.
Eastern Bluebirds also quite common along the golf course.
