I am curious if the new fire ant killers using turpentine are safe and organic as advertised.

On the surface of it, I would avoid it myself. While I realize it is organic in nature, coming from pine oil, I would not want such a solvent -- and that's what it is -- which such an awful smell, in my yard.

There are so many orange oil based products, or nematodes for long term relief, that that's the way I would go.

However, your mileage may vary.
