We are suffering from head lice for months and we have tried the apple cider vinegar rinse and the lice are living through it :( :( :( !!! We're using 5% acidity- is that right? Does anyone have any ideas? We are tired of combing and rinsing, etc.... and of course washing endlessly!Thank-you in advance! Yael

Are you using the vinegar straight (not diluted)? Also, I believe you need to leave it soak for awhile. Ck the link below for additional info.

I hope you have resolved this! I just noticed this post and thought I might lend aid, just in case you are still entrenched in battling the little buggers!

Vaccuum everything! throw the bag away: get the bugs and eggs OUT FO THE HOUSE

Wash all linens and everything else in your closets and drawers in HOT WATER: leave nothing unwashed. A HUGE undertaking, but worth it.

Wash or bag up all stuffed toys, pillow, fabricy things...tie bags shut and put someplace for at least 6 weeks to stop the life cycle.

After your vinegar wash, plaster each head in the house with mayonaise. It smothers eggs...use your lice comb to scrape the mayo out. Do this in the tub to avoid a giant greasy mess. Wash and rinse hair to get mayo residue out...

Good luck!!
