We have Bermuda grass on our 1/2 acre lot and over 10 years ago we planted a little bit of zoysia that we had ordered. Over the years we have this patch of grass that we really like. It began under a trampoline and took several years to get to the size it is now but it is taking over the Bermuda, it is virtually weed free, it is soft and doesn't require as much mowing. However, it does seem to get brown faster than the Bermuda.

I would prefer this over the whole yard but it's taking too long. If we could identify it we could seed or plug or whatever and put this in the rest of the yard. The pictures show the grass close up and then gradually fades away so you can see where the patch is amongst the Bermuda. Right now it is the greener portion. The holes in the far back of the yard are the result of chickens let loose and destroying the yard. :(

If you could help I'd really appreciate it!

Forgot to mention that I'm not sure that where this grass is growing is the same area where the zoysia went in, but it might be.

What you are describing is zoysia. I would expect it to be more dense than your pictures show, though.
