I live in the Coastal Bend area near Corpus Christi in a rural area with lots of agriculture. I have had honey bees take up residence in my home 4 x in the last 14 yr. I have used a bee keeper each time who will come and remove the bees and the hive. I cannot find a bee keeper in the area currently who can do the job. An 85 yo keeper came and said they are in the attic above the shower upstairs and job is too hard for him. He doesn't know any other keepers in area. Does anyone have any suggestions in finding a bee keeper in the area? I will be calling vector control Mon. to ask them. I don't want pesticides in my home and don't want to kill these amazing bees as they are disappearing. Fire dept. in the area don't have any names. Please help if you can... :P :P

Contact the Texas Honeybee Guild and see if they can help you find resources.
