I am sure this question has come up before, but we have a 30 plus year old American Elm tree in the back yard. I noticed some very small areas with mistletoe last week, and a few woodpeckers have been doing their work on it as well. It is planted properly. I know this is no prized tree but we would like to save it because it is HUGE and provides lots of shade and actually looks nice in the spring/summer. I applied the sick tree treatment in August and again this week. Is this too often, and how often should the procedure be done?
Thanks and any information will be greatly appreciated!!!

That should be plenty if you did the entire procedure, which includes the root flare exposure.
