I have a new lawn (6mos.) with all the rain we've had this month it is growing mushrooms randomly around the yard. Is this good or bad?
I havn't statred the cornmeal system yet, the landscaper put fertilizer
on it without asking what kind to use. He will start natural system on the next application. When should it be administered ?

Mushrooms
Many of the mushrooms that grow wild in the garden are poisonous and shouldn’t be eaten but they cause no other real problem. They are the fruiting bodies of fungus that is feeding on decaying organic matter in the soil. Mushrooms will grow in the lawn on roots, limbs, or lumber burned in the soil. They will also grow on mulch in beds. Some are white and some especially in beds will be bright colors. Kick them over or if they will bother you, spray them with baking soda or potassium bicarbonate at 1 rounded tablespoon per gallon.
