I have two peaches and two plums. All four produced bumper crops this year. Almost as soon as the last piece of fruit was gone, all four of them dropped almost every single leaf. It's been three years since we got any fruit from any of these because of late freezes in the past years, but I don't recall this happening before. Is this typical? All four trees have been on a strictly organic program since I planted them. They were all planted per DD recommendations regarding flare, etc.

I don't know if this is typical, but I'll add my two cents - I noticed this happened on a tree near me in southern Tarrant County. Friends shared some of the fruit when it was ripening, and the other day I looked at the tree and it had about four leaves per branch, all waving at the very tips of those branches. Not what I was expecting!
