I have a yard full of post oaks at my new home, everyone has warned me about any sudden changes to the tree's surroundings can cause them to die. I have been carefull to now disturb them any more than nessary.

My question is all the rain we're getting in Brazos co. (less than 2" from our 38" annual already) going to cause problems with the post oaks, if so is there anything I can do to help the trees ??

I think the best bet is to leave them alone. They seem to survive nature's watering can fine without interference, and we know that offers of help usually hinder them, so I'd leave well enough alone.
