Could anyone tell me what is Green Sand composed of? Also, where do I find Granite Sand in Ft. Worth - Weatherford area? I need the fine sand, not the 1/4" stuff. Thanks, KZ

Thanks Dave for the greensand info. I'm still looking for granite sand. The closest thing to sand I have found is Chicken Starter Grit. It is Granite sand of about 1/16". Still a little coarse but better than nothing. Any help would be appreciated!

Soil Building Systems carries bulk granite sand.

http://www.soilbuildingsystems.com/SandData.htm

The "D" sand is the finer of the ones they offer. It may not be as fine as you would like, but they do offer finer sands that may accomplish what you want.

Hope this helps
