pls note, i know you are supposed to put cgm down after seeds are germinated. so my question is how many weeks do you wait to reseed if you put the cgm down first?

You wait until you think all the seed that will germinate has germinated.

Are you seeding now? If you are seeding bermuda now, it will not sprout until the soil warms up to 70 degrees F or so. If you are seeding fescue or bluegrass, it will die back about 70% by September due to summer heat stress. If you want better results you need to seed fescue and bluegrass in the fall. The winter gives the root system time to develop and deepen which allows the plants to survive through the summer.
