I have discovered that something's amiss in my flower bed. I have what looks like something eating my sedum, infecting my poppies, and affecting my daylilies. Any clues on what it is and how to treat?

Everything was doing fine until the recent rain. This cropped up after that.

I get this every year on my sedums, which I have a lot of. It's aphids and they suck the juice out of the new spring shoots or leaves of your plants. I usually blast them with water then douse the plants with DE.

Thanks, Sandi! I sprayed them last night with a concoction of soap, water, and ammonia. We'll see if that knocks 'em outta here. I also put down some cornmeal and dry garlic since it looked like something had munched a few holes in some of the leaves. I also put down some crushed eggshells to ward off any snails and slugs. I'll keep watching and keep spraying!!
