I have a Chinese Pistachio tree planted as a medium size tree in 2005 near my pool. It is a beautiful tree all summer, fast growth, excellent health! When it comes to fall color it has absolutely none...it stays green until nearly the first of November, barely turns yellowish/brown and the leaves fall off in December...their is some fig leave ivy at the base of the tree..is this affecting the fall color or do I have a "dud" tree with no fall color? or is there something I can do to improve the fall color of this tree?

Other plants won't affect the fall color. Exposing the root flare and applying the Sick Tree Treatment might help - sure won't hurt. Unfortunately some trees are just duds as far as fall color goes.
