Does anyone know if fox tail ferns will survive our winters? I have LOTS of shade in both front and back yards, and I am trying to put things that will tolerate shade for most of the day. Thanks. Ann

I've had mine for several years and they stay outside during the winter. I even had them out this past winter with all the snow and ice. It was the first time they died all the way back but then came back during the spring. I love them!

Wow - that's great. That's what I needed to know. Everything I had seen said they couldn't take anything lower than 30-40 degrees. I really like the look and the color would work really well with my purple heart in the shade.
